Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

From Tangier to Marrakech, on a 5-day desert adventure. In Tangier, your driver will meet you. Your travels begin as we travel to Chefchaouen, a city famous for its attractive combination of blue and white buildings. Once there, you’ll get the chance to experience the local cuisine and wander through its colorful lanes. In this city, you will spend the night in a hotel or riad where you may unwind and sleep.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

The morning begins with the crisp air of Chefchaouen; later, our journey will take us to the Volubilis archaeological sites. The ruins are a stunning illustration of the various civilizations that formerly called Morocco home and are still reflected in the national customs today. It is thus the perfect location for a stroll through its natural beauty and rich history.

Our next stop is the imperial city of Meknes, formerly the residence of the Moroccan sultanate Moulay Ismail. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore this fascinating historical location and let its allure enchant you. The historic city of Fes, the cultural center of Morocco, will be our final stop. It is one of the best preserved medieval Islamic cities in the world. DAY 3: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz valley - Sahara desert

Today is a full day of travel across the various landscapes that make the five days from Tangier so special and pleasurable. Keep a look out for Barbary apes as you travel through the cedar and pine trees. Before reaching the Sahara Desert’s sand dunes, take a camel ride through the pre-desert terrain that crosses the Middle Atlas Mountains and features deep gorges that are home to beautiful oasis-like plantings of green palm trees. We set up camp in the desert for the night. We shall eat dinner in the neighborhood here.

DAY 4: Merzouga desert - Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte

Travel to Ouarzazate via Rissani, the birthplace of the Alawi dynasty, where there are many kasbah and a souk. We will then proceed on the route to TODRA GORGES for lunch. the lovely DADES and rose valley valleys, and then keep going. At the evening, we arrive in Ouarzazate, where we have a sumptuous dinner and relax. A night spent in the riad.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – High Atlas – Marrakech

We will stop at the Taourirt Kasbah, the Cinema Atlas studio, and the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before continuing on to Marrakech. These locations have served as the backdrop for numerous well-known Hollywood productions, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, etc. We proceed via the High Atlas to Marrakech.
