Itinerary 2 Days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga
Day 1: from Errachidia to Merzouga Desert via the Ziz Valley and Erfoud city
First, we will pick you up from Errachidia hotel or airport, a beautiful city with a Saharan climate and a spectacular view of palm trees and mountains, before heading to the stunning Sahara desert dunes. Along the journey, we’ll stop in Erfoud, which is renowned as the “gateway to the Sahara desert” since it’s adjacent to the Erg Chebbi dunes and has several fossil and Saharan clothes shops. When we arrive in the Sahara desert, we will enjoy our camel ride to the tallest dunes, where we will halt to observe the sun fall, and this is also a terrific chance, because you can take pictures of yourself-and precious golden dunes. Spend the night at a nomadic camp.
Day 2 : from Merzouga Desert to Errachidia through Rissani and the Ziz Valley
On the second day of these two days from Errachidia to Merzouga, we will begin with a great breakfast in his desert field, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After that, we will begin our day of exploration of the Merzouga desert by traveling behind the desert in a 4WD vehicle. We will also get the opportunity to meet a nomadic family near the Moroccan-Algerian border before traveling to a community of dark-skinned people, previously slaves from Sudan, to listen to Gnaoua music and see your way of life. In the evening, we will go to Errachidia and transfer you to the airport or your hotel.
