Itinerary: 2 day Morocco tour from Ouarzazate
DAY 1: OUARZAZATE – TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK & NIGHT IN DESERT CAMP
Our 2 day Ouarzazate Desert Tour to Merzouga will begin in the morning and go via the Dades and Tinghir Gorges, passing through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley (along the thousand Kasbah Road). Once we reach the Todra Gorge, we will have lunch. After taking a few minutes to unwind, continue traveling by road to Erfoud and Merzouga in the afternoon. Once reaching the dunes, take a camel ride and experience a stunning sunset at the top of Erg Chebbi’s dunes, where the camp is situated in the middle of the desert. Supper and the night in a nomad tent, or bivouac. and having a drumming party with Berbers.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TAZARINE – AGDEZ – OUARZAZATE
You will ride camels back to the hotel in the early morning after witnessing the dawn on the sand dunes. Following breakfast and a shower, travel via Tazarine and the Draa Valley. Lunch will be in N’Kob, a little Berber town. From there, rejoin the track until Agdez, the Draa Valley’s historic caravan path, which is located in the center of a palm tree and its kasbah. Finally, go back in time to Ouarzazate.
