2 days desert trip from Marrakech Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert.
At 7 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel or riad and begin our journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas, with far-reaching views of the mountains, to traditional High Atlas Berber villages, and then to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou.
You will have lunch on the way, or in Ouarzazate, where you will visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios, and then we will continue to Roses Valley and Boumalne Dades, passing through Todra Gorges, Tinghir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud Rissani, where we will feel the beginning of the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet, and then we will continue to a Hotel in Merzouga before the sunset, after You will take part of your baggage in a compact bag—the required for the night in the Merzouga desert.
And leave the other bags at the hotel before embarking on an expedition over the erg Chebbi dunes on camels; this is an excellent opportunity to get beautiful sunset photographs.
When we get at the camp, we will dismount the camels and stroll to the tallest dunes for sandboarding and watching the sunset before spending the night in Camp nomad tents with food and Berber music in the center of Erg Chebbi’s Sahara Desert.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – N’kob – Ouarzazate – Atlas mountains – Back To Marrakech
Following breakfast, we will wake you up early in the morning to view the dawn in Merzouga’s high dunes, and then you will ride the camels back to Merzouga.
After breakfast and a shower in the camp, we begin our journey back to Marrakech through various areas and Berber villages and Kosur (Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob) until Ouarzazate, where we will use the same road back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening/night and concluding the 2 Day Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga Desert.
